Winter Wedding Lighting

Although the majority of our weddings are in the summer we find Winter weddings are getting just as popular and with good reason.

My last wedding was on 29th November. The reception was held at the New Mill in Eversley and made a lovely backdrop for this winter wedding.

The great thing about winter weddings is that the lighting is fantastic, it's very soft and little contrast from the sun. It also means we can shoot beautiful dusk photos without having to wait for the evening.

Here are a few outdoor shots with a winter setting. The cold is worth it for the beautiful shots, and we can always airbrush out goosebumps!

Model Behaviour

A large part of our portrait work is model shoots. This is one of the favourite parts of my job as it's an area, with the right victim...ahem...customer, we can create some really interesting and different imagery.

I had a fantastic model in last week updating photographs for her acting portfolio. We experimented with lots of different poses, outfit changes and lighting set ups and got some really great results. She was more than happy to go with my ideas and was enthusiastic throughout.

A lot of fun was had by all and we are so pleased with the results we wanted to share them.
